What We Believe

God:
We believe: There is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator and Redeemer of All that is. ( John 1:1-3)
Holy Bible:
We believe: The Holy bible is the Inspired Word of God, and is the only basis for our beliefs. We believe that only the 66 books of the Bible are inspired, and therefore the bible is the inerrant, infallible Word of God. It is the final authority for all we believe. (Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3: 16-17)
Trinity:
We believe that the one true God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that these being one God are equal in deity, power, and glory. (Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 28: 18-20)
Jesus Christ:
We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man. We believe Jesus was conceived and born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and offered Himself as a sacrifice for sinners. (Matthew 1: 18-25; Colossians 1: 15-23)
Salvation:
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith in Christ alone. No ordinance, ritual, work or any other activity on the part of man is required in order to be saved. Any person can enter into a saving relationship with God by confessing the Lordship of Jesus Christ and believing in His complete victory over death. This same grace from God, through the power of the Holy Spirit, empowers us to repent from our sins and be forgiven and cleansed, sanctifying us by enabling us to do what is pleasing in God’s sight in order that we might be progressively conformed to the image of Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 10:9)
Water Baptism & The Lord’s Supper (Communion):
We believe that water baptism and the Lord’s supper are two ordinances of the church to be observed until the time of Christ’s return. They are not a means of salvation, but are channels of God’s sanctifying grace and blessings to the faithful in Christ Jesus. (Matthew 3:13; Acts 2:37-39; Romans 6:1-4; Colossians 2:9-14)
Lord’s Supper:
We believe the Lord’s supper is open to all who believe and are truly repentant of their sins. This is a time of intimacy between God and us. (Luke 22:17-19; 1Corinthians 10:16-17; 1Corinthians 11:23-26)
Baptism of The Holy Spirit:
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ baptizes in the Holy Spirit, in whom we are sealed for the day of redemption. The Holy Spirit fills, empowers, and anoints believers for ministry and witness. We also believe that signs and wonders, as well as all the gifts of the Spirit described in the New Testament, are operative today and are designed to testify to the presence of the Kingdom and to empower and edify the church to fulfill its calling and mission. (Matthew 3:11; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4) Receiving the Holy Spirit upon conversion and being baptized in the Holy Spirit are two separate and distinct experiences.
We believe that The Kingdom of God is the key for all believers and we aim to move in signs of the present fulfillment of the kingdom, invoking the Spirit’s powerful presence, ministering through the Spirit’s gifts, and seeing God heal and work wonders.
We believe that God’s kingdom has come in the ministry of Jesus Christ and the ministry of the Spirit through the Church. It will be consummated in the triumphant appearing of Christ Jesus when there will be a final judgment and eternal blessing of the righteous, and endless suffering of the wicked.
We believe every Christian is to be an active minister of the Church and is charged to reach out to others in grace and mercy, and to make disciples of all people regardless of race, ethnicity, economic status, gender or any other distinction.
For we value integrity. It is important for us to speak the truth, deal honestly, and live uprightly.
