Benevolence

Benevolence Is Under the Care of Daryl & Jeanne Steinbrink.

The Benevolence Ministry seeks to support and encourage those in need by connecting them with resources both inside and outside of our church community. We know there are many individuals and families facing financial hardship given our current economy.

We are a people that give of themselves with personal involvement and individual contributions as an expression of Christian love.

We respond to Christ’s call by sharing our resources with non-profit organizations where our funds make a significant impact and which serve those in need in our community.

We conduct a ministry of caring and compassion by integrating our effort with other ministries of the church, being stewards of the church’s resources with accountability and integrity, reflecting the inclusive nature of Christ’s ministry by seeing all persons as equals and each person as having worth.

1 Timothy 6:17-19 says; “Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasures for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
